Stainless Steel Square Thin Nut for Bolt
Standard:DIN557 DIN562
Size: M3 M4 M5 M6 M8 M10
Head:Square head, female threaded inside
PRODUCT DETAILS:
At two-thirds the height of regular square nuts, these metric nuts are made from stainless steel and are designed for low-clearance applications in wet, damp, and washdown environments. They are often called square locknuts because they snap together to hold each other in place. They are easily gripped with a wrench because they have flat, wide sides, which also prevents them from rotating in channels and square holes. They have a larger contact area with the fastening surface than hex nuts. They are slightly less strong than steel nuts.
These nuts conform to DIN 562, an international standard that indicates their materials and dimensions are compatible with other products and tools.
Square Thin Nut suitable for indoor and outdoor, widely used in civil furniture, equipment, construction, electrical appliances, industrial machinery, etc., generally used with fasteners, screws, washers, screws, etc., mainly for connection, assembly, fixing and other functions.
How to use the square nut?
Usually use screws to clamp the connected terminal wire; use a wrench to fix the square nut, and use a drive tool to lock the screw in the tightening position.
