PRODUCT DETAILS:

Flat Head Solid Rivets can be hardened in some applications to increase ; To fasten the rivet, after the rivet is inserted into the workpiece, the end of the rivet stem is impacted, squeezed or rotated.

Flat head solid rivets are a common fastener widely used in situations where a strong connection is required. They are usually made of materials such as aluminum, steel or brass.

The head of the rivet is flat, which can provide a large contact area and help to disperse the pressure. The entire rivet is made of a single material and has no holes, so it has a high load-bearing capacity. In industries such as aviation, automobiles, construction and electronics, flat head solid rivets are used to connect metal plates, plastic plates or other materials. They are also commonly used in manufacturing processes to fix components or assembled parts.

Riveting process:
1. Insertion: The rivet is inserted into the workpiece that needs to be connected through a pre-drilled hole.
2. Riveting: After the rivet passes through the hole, its tail (the part that passes through the workpiece) is impacted, squeezed or rotated.
3. Impact: Use a hammer or other tool to hit the tail of the rivet.
4. Extrusion: Use a rivet squeezing tool to clamp and squeeze the tail of the rivet to deform it.
5. Rotation: Rotate the rivet while applying pressure to make the material flow and fill the hole to form a strong connection.
6. Deformation: The deformation of the rivet tail causes it to spread out on the other side of the workpiece, forming the head, which secures the rivet in place.
7. Finish: The deformed rivet head ensures a permanent connection between the workpieces, with the rivet providing the mechanical strength to keep them connected.
